Would it have been smarter to go to bed and wake up ready to go for the week? Yes. Is it smart to go out on a Sunday night til 6AM before work at a job you are very lucky to have and never want to take for granted? Definitely not. Would most 26 year old “common men” who grew up playing hockey their entire life who got invited to go party with an ENTIRE NHL team at some ridiculous place for their year end rager be tempted to say yes? Yes. Some of those common men might even say yes when a contingent of the same NHL team wants to come back to their office after blowing out 1 OAK, but none of them would do it again if they aren’t idiots and want to stay employed!

Bringing them back to the office and leaving a mess was a bad decision but an important lesson learned. Having the two people that control your livelihood pissed at you is what you might refer to as NOT IDEAL! There are a lot of people you can piss off that don’t really mean anything but these two are quite literally the TWO WORST POSSIBLE OPTIONS!

I’ve learned that it is NOT my place to be throwing rippers at the office, and especially not on Sunday til 6AM (who would have known?).

I now have a built in excuse to never have rippers at the office again “I almost got murdered last time I brought people here, no chance sorry”.

I’ve learned that if you were in that position, you DEFINITELY should clean up and not leave an office space looking like the Pike house an hour before people show up to work.

And you should definitely put yourself getting in trouble in Stool Scenes even if it has all released for a day and a half already.
