Beer League Heroes - Sweet Sweet Victory
After an inspiring Rocky-themed montage, the boys were able to rally together and come up with a big time win last week against Team Gongshow. Here’s something you guys need to know. Philly area Beer League ain’t like what you’re used to seeing in Boston, or Minnesota, or Canada or anywhere. It’s about as gritty and blue collar as it gets over here. And nothing is more blue collar than grinding out a win in overtime after scoring with 0.8 seconds left on the clock to send that bitch into the extra frame. Takes some seriously meaty testicles to come away with those 2 points.
When you have 10 feet of open ice to work with but you decide to just let one fly from a terrible angle.
