Frank Walks Episode 23: Dante Hall Presented by Dude Wipes
The Cleveland Browns have not had a kickoff return for a touchdown since 2009. DudeWipes is running a contest to Stop the Streak. The expert in stopping Brown streaks, Dude Wipes, is giving away $100,000 if the Browns have a kickoff return for a touchdown. Go to stopthestreak.com for more.
Looking to learn how the Browns could stop the streak, I spoke with Dante Hall as he played a round of golf in New Jersey. Hall was known as "the Human Joystick," as he became the X-Factor and one of the greatest kick returners in NFL history. Playing seven seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and two with the St. Louis Rams, Dante Hall has returned six kickoffs and five punts for a touchdown. This included a streak of four consecutive games in which Hall returned either a kick or a punt for a touchdown in 2003, establishing an NFL record.
I spoke to Dante Hall about his career and the current NFL. He works as an ambassador for the Chiefs while living in New Jersey. Hall has become enthusiastic about golf and provided insight into the new kickoff rules and how it feels to make defenders need Dude Wipes as he makes incredible moves on the field.
