Tank Cooks Grilled T-Bone Steak and Fire Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients 

  • t-bone steaks  
  • olive oil 
  • salt 
  • ground black pepper 
  • mini potatoes 
  • spices of choice 

Directions: 

  1. Add olive oil to a bowl with spice and soak mini potatoes. 
  2. Place potatoes into foil wrap tightly and place on the grill, turning often. 
  3. Salt T-bone steaks generously with salt on both sides and allow to sit at room temperature for 45 minutes before grilling.  
  4. About 10-15 minutes before grilling, brush the grill grates with olive oil and preheat one area of the grill to high heat and the other to low heat. 
  5. Season steak with salt and black pepper, if desired. 
  6. Place steaks on the high-heat area of the grill for 3-4 minutes. Flip to the other side with tongs and sear for 3-4 minutes. 
  7. If the steak needs more time to reach your ideal doneness level, move it to the low-heat area of the grill and close the lid to cook for another 2-10 minutes. 
  8. Use your meat thermometer to check the thickest part of the steak 
  9. Rest at room temperature with garlic butter on a foil-tented plate for 5-10 minutes before serving.
