Tank Cooks Grilled T-Bone Steak and Fire Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients
- t-bone steaks
- olive oil
- salt
- ground black pepper
- mini potatoes
- spices of choice
Directions:
- Add olive oil to a bowl with spice and soak mini potatoes.
- Place potatoes into foil wrap tightly and place on the grill, turning often.
- Salt T-bone steaks generously with salt on both sides and allow to sit at room temperature for 45 minutes before grilling.
- About 10-15 minutes before grilling, brush the grill grates with olive oil and preheat one area of the grill to high heat and the other to low heat.
- Season steak with salt and black pepper, if desired.
- Place steaks on the high-heat area of the grill for 3-4 minutes. Flip to the other side with tongs and sear for 3-4 minutes.
- If the steak needs more time to reach your ideal doneness level, move it to the low-heat area of the grill and close the lid to cook for another 2-10 minutes.
- Use your meat thermometer to check the thickest part of the steak
- Rest at room temperature with garlic butter on a foil-tented plate for 5-10 minutes before serving.
