Announcement: Rob Manfred Is My New Best Friend
Unbelievable trip to LA to recap the All Star Game and hang out with some friends of the program. On that front we'll have a red carpet video out next week where we talked to so many of the games superstars. Rob Manfred makes an appearance and J Balvin said I look like 1983. All of that makes me very happy and I'm sure you guys will appreciate the content.
For today's show it's a nice and easy recap of the ASG week and some of our experiences working the event for the first time. We sat down with Scott Boras for almost an hour. We got to spend our Tuesday morning with Liam Hendricks. We hung around the hotel with Smoltz and Big Papi and Ken Rosenthal and we saw a Travis Scott concert for 200 people. Bottle service next to the New York Yankees and interviewing OBJ on a red carpet after getting ghosted by Travis Kelce. On it goes, all crammed into one 48 hour window that we recap in 48 minutes. There's some kind of poetic poetry there I think.
Interviews out next week. Thanks to Gametime for putting us in some amazing seats and also shoutout me for pulling an autographed Mike Trout relic card. That was sweet.
