Wayne Gretzky Shares Some Incredible Stories With The Spittin' Chiclets Crew

It's Wayne Gretzky Week for Spittin' Chiclets as we were blessed enough to land the Great One for an awesome interview. I'm not sure how many of these stories he has told before over the last 30-40 years but I know it was the first time that we and most of our audience heard them. 

Like this one about a stipulation in his contract stating that Gretzky would be due compensation if the league put a new team within proximity to his current team. For real.

That's when you know you have some clout. 

He also clarified exactly how he ended up with his iconic #99.

And Wayne was thisclose to becoming a Detroit Red Wing until his old man steered him West (and not his wife as popular lore has suggested). 

The boys also chatted about the upcoming Chiclets Cup this summer in Buffalo and Biz made yet another wacky declaration.
