Barstool Gametime Will Be Playing In The $300,000 World Series Of Warzone Tournament On November 17th
LFG!!!!
The biggest Warzone tournament of the year is here and I'll be squading up with Ebatez to try to take down all the Warzone professionals and biggest content creators.
Ebatez previously was the MVP for the Barstool College Gaming Championship and recently won Twitch Rivals.
Alright, lemme break down the format for everyone to understand because it is a bit confusing.
In the simplest form, it's duos that are all in a custom lobby. So every single competitor will be in the same lobby. It's 5 games beginning at 3pm EST on November 17th. The scoring is a combination of placement + kills (I'll break down scoring in a later blog) and everyone is competing for $200,000. After the 5 games, a winner duo will be crowned.
Following the 5 duo games, every player will drop into a solo custom game where it's winner take all for $100,000. All you need to do is win the game and you win the money. Kills are not factored at all. So that's simple and straightforward enough to begin.
However, above you see 5 Captains for your World Series of Warzone - on November 16th (a day before the WSOW), captains will be drafting duos onto their team. Each team's score will then be added together to see which team performed best and prize incentives are awarded to the teams that perform best.
So that's the breakdown of the event and excuse me while I go play 100000 hours of Warzone to prepare for this event....
