Barstool Chicago Goes To Eastern
Huge shoutout to Ike's Bar, official home of the Eastern Illinois Panthers. No bullshit the young man running that place - Reece or Rees or one of those hot boi farmer names - that mother fucker has his shit together. Idk if I've seen a college bar that well run by someone that on top of his bar. So Reece or whatever, you get a beef.
Next up is the kid who demanded he speak with Ed in person. Came up to me with a notable sense of urgency. Said he was disappointed we couldn't get a hot dog on the way into town:
Well turns out that kid's dad owns the local gas station and all the hot dogs inside it. And (allegedly) those are the best hot dogs in the universe according to cousin Ed so naturally I'm inclined to follow his path. Ed knows dogs and I know Ed so that's how it works. So very cool they were able to connect over gas station hot dog supply/demand patterns.
Then final shoutout would be the students at Eastern in general. You guys are great. You don't get enough love statewide and that's a shame. All you guys wanted to do was party and hang out. No one was asking us about internships or when we were doing a pizza review or any of that shit. It was old barstool being old barstool - a couple out of place older dudes getting wasted on a college campus. You guys were delightful and I can't wait to do it again.

Unfortunately we're making all of this up as we go so don't let me pretend for five fucking seconds we got some destination lined up for 2nd semester. We don't, but I heard Western Illinois is lovely in mid-February.
