The Goddamn Jets - Season 3, Episode 9: Sam The Spleen Darnold, Live And In Stereo
Jets are BACK. Earlier this week, we were worried about Sam Darnold DYING on the football field. Here we are today, 330 yards, 2 TDs and a win later, and the Spleen is alive and well. The ENTIRE complexion of this team changes when you have a real quarterback under center. Amazing what happens when you dont have a practice squad player trying to lead you to victory. Adam Gase looks competent all the sudden. Gregg Williams, Jamal Adams and the defense were everywhere. Robbie Anderson and Jamison Crowder both go for 100 yards making big play after big play. Even Demaryius Thomas was making things happen, thank you Bill!
All I gotta say is FUCK MONO. This entire season would have been different if we didnt dig ourselves a 4 game hole because of the goddam kissing disease. At what point do we start to blame the Center for Disease Control? How has this horrible disease not yet been eradicated from the world? How is this no cure?? How has nobody from any of the government agencies come forward and apologized to Sam Darnold for CLEARLY holding him back by allowing mononucleosis to run wild and sabotage his season?
