Our new South African BFF Steve Hess was involved in training & performance with the Denver Nuggets for over 20 years and came on Mickstape to share some tales from his illustrious time there. He gets into Carmelo’s greatness, Iverson’s work ethic, if he’d want JR Smith with the game on the line, best athletes he’s ever trained, and worst (sorry Popeye Jones).
He also gets into how sports science is changing training methods the NBA uses today and expands on athletes squeezing every ounce out of their potential.
