Riggs and I crossed the Hudson for a gladiatorial contest of speed, athleticism, and golf IQ. We played the 14th hole at Bayonne Golf Club in New Jersey, a steep, treacherous par three that gets buffeted by the winds off the river. What an exciting way to play golf!
