The Crease Dive Goes To The College Lacrosse Final Four Part 2

A week ago today, the Yale Bulldogs won their first NCAA National Championship in program history. It was a dominant weekend that capped off a dominant season all year long for the Bulldogs. If there’s one thing that I can say about this Yale team that really separated them from the rest of the nation, it has to be the weight room. These kids were all thicccccccc as hell. Just take Chris Fake for example. Kid is a freshman and he has calves that are larger than Robby O‘s head.

They’re big as shit. They’re fast as shit. And then obviously they had Tewaaraton Award winner and our good pal, Ben Reeves.

When you combine all of those attributes together, that is how you create a National Championship winning team. So congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs on winning their first national title and now you’ll see how they set the standard in college lacrosse. I’m assuming there are going to be about 70 new strength and conditioning coach hires for the rest of the country next season.

And not only are congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs in order, but congratulations to college lacrosse fans in general. It was another wild chapter in the book of lacrosse and Robby O and myself couldn’t have been happier to be a part of it. We started the podcast back in January not really knowing where it was going. So the amount of support we saw at Gillette over Memorial Day Weekend was pretty unbelievable. Can’t thank you enough to everybody who was listening and following along all season. You guys rock. Only 51 more weeks until next year’s tournament. In the meantime, I’m gonna go look into seeing if there is any surgery that can make me taller for next year’s video.

P.S. – Just because the college lacrosse season is over doesn’t mean that The Crease Dive is over as well. We’re gonna have a couple of guests on this week to preview game 3 of the NLL Finals. Plus I’m sure we’ll have some more MLL guests on throughout the summer and we’ll also be covering the World Championships. So don’t cry, there is still plenty of lax to watch this summer. Low To High Till The Day We Die.
