I Held Hands To Nickleback In High School & Now I'm Boys With Them

Recorded: January 24th 2023 | We were all young and in love once right? I know I was... and the time I'm thinking about is when I was cruising down the Missouri roads with my high school love sitting next to me and a group of men blessing my car speakers.

But it wasn't just any group of men. It was Nickleback. 

And Chad Kroeger was blessing my speakers with "Animals". 

What they didn't know is that this young bull made a move on his girl and we rode the whole length of the song holding hands. It was a vibe I've only experienced a handful of times and one that I have been chasing ever since. 

Good news boys. That vibe came today because Nickleback came on the bus.

Chad is a stud just like we all suspected and Daniel (drummer) has about as cool of a story you could imagine. Three Doors Down lost on that one.

The boys talk about the inside details of songwriting and how you get paid, going on world tour, being turned into a meme, how they wrote some of their hits in 45 minutes and others in 4 months, and lastly we got glimpses of what a concert with Chad would be like after he sang bits and pieces of a few songs for us.

I can't like to y'all, the blood started rushing below the waistline and before I knew it I was back on that high school vibe that I had been chasing ever since that day. You guys will love this one, enjoy!
