PSA: Chicks At The Bar Will Rob You Via Venmo When Giving You Their Number"

KFCRadio: Venmo Money

Theres an epidemic sweeping this nation. Sweeping the single people still out there scrapping to get laid. Sweeping the bars and the clubs where chicks are out preying on the men in pursuit of getting laid. We got a voicemail this week telling the story of a guy who hit it off with a chick at the bar. Things were going well. He asked for her number. She said give me your phone. And when she took it to “put her number in the phone,” she Venmo’d herself $200. Said goodbye, walked out, and was 200 dollars richer.

Its a diabolical scam for 2 reasons. 1) its just a modern day pick pocket. That chick just straight up robbed you. Virtually mugged. But second, and much more importantly, getting a chick’s number is one of the small victories in life that guys get so much joy out of. You’re not getting rocks, its not like you’re officially dating. But when you’re at the bar at set your sights on a chick, getting her number is a solid accomplishment. Its like reaching base camp when youre climbing Everest. You spit some game, use some lines, win her over, and, at the very least, get a number to give it a second try. It could lead to some sexting, a second date, and getting laid. Or, maybe she was just being polite, maybe she never answers you. But in that moment you feel accomplished and your confidence gets bumped up.

So to feel like you accomplished that task, only to look at your phone, see no number, and then realize you’ve been taken for $200 is a brutal double whammy. Not only are your 200 dollars poorer, but you go from thinking you were a confident, charismatic guy that this girl actually liked, to realizing you where just the mark. She took one look at you and thought “Yup, thats the guy I can swindle.” Thats low, girls. Real low. Its sneaky and conniving and kinda cool and mysterious and probably would make me want to track you down and try even harder to fuck you, but its LOW.

So be careful. Its an epidemic. Don’t let it happen to you. Always keep your eye on your phone at time.
