This week I tried my hand at something a little different than the podcasts you guys have all grown accustomed to on Barstool. A fully produced and polished feature about the life and career of Alex Rodriguez. When I was coming up at WFUV radio at Fordham, these were the type of features I used to make. Complete with interviews and audio clips. Music and scripts. A little departure from the podcasts we usually make on the fly.

And if there’s anyone who deserves that treatment, its Arod. He’s been one of the most important athletes in Barstool history. Right up there with Lebron and Manziel and Gronk and JR Smith and the other legendary athletes that have provided more content and material than you can even remember. I’ve always had a fascination with Arod. The player, the man, the cheating, the women, all of it. Hes the type of guy who transcends just baseball.
