Gary Gulman's 'Karate Kid' Bit Is One Of My Favorite Stand Up Jokes

EPISODE 129 - THE KARATE KID COMMENTARY WITH ALEC SULKIN

(Sorry for only audio, the full special is streaming for free on Vudu)

I love Gary Gulman. He's one of my favorite comedians out there right now and I think his most recent special 'The Great Depresh' (available on HBO Max) was truly an all-timer.

Gulman's bit on the famous crane kick and the phrase, "If do right, no can defend.", from 'The Karate Kid' is my favorite joke of his ever; it's perfect. Just a hilarious six minutes of stand-up comedy. Check it out above if you've never seen it!

If you've got a little MORE than six minutes and the urge to rewatch 'The Karate Kid', come watch it with me, Clem, and Alec Sulkin!

It's always a great time with Sulk in the Basement, but having his genius writer brain kinda break down why this movie is such a classic was really special, I thought. One of our most fun commentary tracks/podcasts to date right here!
