The Definitive List Of Quarterbacks Who Are Worse Than Mitch Trubisky
I am finally coming down from the high from that game. A full 36 hours later. Great win. Important win. A win that might have saved the season. And yet we all have this pit in our stomach because we know we are signing up for another 14 games of this with the Bears. It won’t come easy at any point because the Bears offense will keep the opponent in the game. That’s just the way it is. That’s where we are with Mitch. Carl is ALL the way out on Mitch. Easy to get to that point. I am an optimist(sucker). We started to get into the list of QBs we still think are worse than Mitch at this point. Here is my list
Jameis Winston
Mitch has never tried to eat a W, that’s a win. Jameis can make throws, but he is the dumbest QB in the game. Liable to throw an INT at any time unless he’s suspended. And even when he’s suspended he doesn’t understand what that means
Give me Mitch over Jameis every day.
Ryan Fitzpatrick/Josh Rosen
Great quarterbacks if you’re trying to lose enough to get Tua. Mitch is at least trying to win so that’s a win.
Drew Brees
Mitch currently has all of his thumb ligaments intact. That’s not something Brees can say.
Eli Manning
Eli Manning didn’t complete a pass until the last two minutes of the first half in week 2. I think I heard that somewhere. I didn’t look it up to confirm. The fact that it feels true and is believable means that Eli is completely washed. Mitch gives you a better chance to win than Eli.
Derek Carr
Nobody has ever been as awkward as Derek Carr in the history of Hard Knocks. He reminds me of Michael Scott in the sense that he wanted to have a bunch of kids so none of them could say no to being his friend. His teammates though…they don’t like him. They don’t respect him and don’t forget about that time they tried to get him killed
Mitch knows how to play the game
Kirk Cousins
90 million dollars for Kirk Cousins…Week 1 they let him throw it 10 times. Week 2 he threw it 32 times because they were chasing the lead and he completed 43% of his passes. Eddie said he’d rather have Kirk. I don’t see it. Kirk Cousins stinks and he will kill you in the most devestating ways possible.
I think that’s the full list. Mitch is in a group with guys like Jacoby Brisset, Marcus Mariota, Case Keenum, Flacco, Gardiner Minshew, and maybe Broken Cam Newton. Guys who are NOT the answer long term at this point, but if they have a defense and a running game they might be able to win you enough games to get in the playoffs. Things couldbe worse.
I do think Mitch can get a little bit better. Things are skewed a bit because he’s gone up against two pretty good defenses. I think the Bears offense cooks a bit more against Washington next week and the Bears will be on their way to the playoffs again. Just keep running the ball like Papa Bear always wanted
