Game 4 Recap – Caps Win!
And just like that it’s all knotted up! What a wild series so far. The Caps have held 2 goal leads in 3 of the 4 games, but obviously let both home games slip away, losing both in OT. Then on the road in Columbus, the Caps bounced back, winning the first game 4 in OT (shout out to the homies who get that), and then last night they won in dominating fashion, to bring it home to DC locked at 2 games a piece.
I love Oshie getting on the board again. He has been playing banged up all season, and looks like he is still not 100%, but put his 2nd of the series in the net last night.
And shout out Tommy Playoffs! Last postseason and now this series, Tommy Wilson just has a nose for the net. After a not so great games 1 and 2, he has been an absolute TANK out there, throwing his body around, putting pucks on net, and now with a goal in each of the last 2 games. Uh ohhhhhhhhhhh
And of course Ovi. What a guy, what a guy, what a guy. He washed the dog for the 3rd time this series with this good ol’ fashioned goal:
I’ve been zooming through the game this morning because last night I was in a Dunkin Donuts in Queens, NY winning Barstool Awards #VivaLaDunkin, so I haven’t been able to see the entire thing yet, but from what I can gather on Twitter and trusted sources that I read, #CapsYear is very back on!
I won’t be at game 5 this weekend, but I expect everyone to be there rocking the red, being as loud as possible, ready to go up 3 games to 2.
