Annnnnd it’s gone. Here’s the beauty of Augusta — you can work your ass off, build on a lot of good stuff, and it can all disappear and it can disappear FAST.

A lot of repercussions from this. The cut at the Masters includes anybody within 10 shots of the lead, so that number potentially dropping with Spieth’s early struggles brings a lot of guys back within the cut line.

Spieth’s also won wire-to-wire here and much chatter was about how he’s led after half the rounds he’s played at Augusta. There were a million great storylines going into the 2018 Masters — adding how Spieth will handle a lead following his 2016 collapse is now another great one.

Things are getting verrrrry interesting.
