The Daily "Bryce Harper Hit A Ball A Mile" Blog
Well this has become a fun daily blog to do. What a start to the season for Bryce Harper. He has 15 at bats, 6 hits, 4 of which are homers. All the while he’s drawn 7 walks in just 5 games, scoring 7 runs and striking out a grand total of 0 times. He’s on a different planet right now. Must have saw those $400 million rumors poking up again and wanted people to remember $500 million still exists.
The bad news is AJ Cole tossed a stinker of mass proportions, going 3.2 giving up 10 hits and 10 earned runs, oops. Can’t very well be having that sort of outing at the big league level. The good news it the Nats rotation 1-4 is lights out. Scherzer, Stras, Gio, and Roark. When combined with this stacked lineup (which is still missing Murph), every game is a must-watch. It’s like watching an All Star team.
And we have some good news for today- day baseball! 12:10 start with Max on the mound. I assume the Nats are like -1000 or something, and I think you gotta fire it. Max ain’t losing today.
