Hue Jackson Loves Referring To People as the "Pied Piper" But I Really Don't Think He Knows What That Means

So on Tuesday Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson, the 1-31 man, went into detail a little bit about Baker Mayfield and how he thinks he’s a leader.

In case you’re like me and had zero idea who or what the Pied Piper was, it’s actually a pretty fucked up story.

For those unfamiliar with the tale, it is set in 1284 in the town of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany. This town was facing a rat infestation, and a piper, dressed in a coat of many coloured, bright cloth, appeared. This piper promised to get rid of the rats in return for a payment, to which the townspeople agreed too. Although the piper got rid of the rats by leading them away with his music, the people of Hamelin reneged on their promise. The furious piper left, vowing revenge. On the 26 th of July of that same year, the piper returned and led the children away, never to be seen again, just as he did the rats. Nevertheless, one or three children were left behind, depending on which version is being told. One of these children was lame, and could not keep up, another was deaf and could not hear the music, while the third one was blind and could not see where he was going. -Ancient-Origins

The shortened version was that there was a city infested with rats. The people called upon the Pied Piper to lure them away and in return would pay him handsomely. He whipped out his flute and easily disposed of the rats. He did it so easily that the town went back on their promise of paying him. In response he came back to town and lured all the children away and left them on a mountain to die. That escalated quickly huh? Not great!

So Hue Jackson somehow thinks Baker Mayfield is this man which I’m not sure is a good thing. He also loves calling basically anyone the Pied Piper as you can see in the video Good Morning Football posted today.

I really don’t think Hue Jackson knows who the Pied Piper really was but I’m all in for him calling anyone he meets on Earth the Pied Piper. Is Hue Jackson the real Pied Piper? Convince everyone within the organization to follow him with his charm only to doom the city by going 1-31. Never change Hue.
