Dana White Is Now A Playable Character In The 'UFC 3' Video Game

YESSSS! Dana “The Goof” White is finally stepping into the cage after all of these years, and even though it’s a virtual cage, I’m all about it. With the last UFC video game, they added Joe Rogan as a playable character which everyone loved, and just when you thought that couldn’t be one-upped, HEEEERRRRRREEEEEE’S DANA! Fucking phenomenal.

The MMA media of course got their panties in a bunch over this, as they do every time anything involving Dana White happens, and couldn’t fathom the UFC President’s stats being so high.

Here’s the thing: who the fuck cares? It’s a video game. Literally fake. I highly doubt Dana White made EA boost up his VIDEO GAME stats in some weird power trip, and also, the stats have to be fairly high. I’m not sure if any of these journalists have ever played a UFC game before, or understand the dynamics of what makes them fun, but they must know that if Dana White was given realistic stats in the game there would be no point of including him in the first place. If you’re adding him as a playable character it means that people will want to play as him, and if people want to play as him they should have a chance at winning with him. That’s why his numbers are boosted. It’s that simple. There’s no interlinked conspiracy going on that makes this dumb shit a slight on the UFC roster. I’ll be the first to admit that White can be real shitty at times, but everybody needs to chill out about this and not have faux-outrage over everything the man does. Just enjoy the fact that you can knock him out pretty realistically in a game now.
