The Warriors Canceled Practice Today Because Everyone Was Too Hungover From Steph's 30th Birthday Party
People are trying to get all up in a tizzy about this, and all those people can suck a dong. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with adults getting turnt up on a Monday to celebrate a birthday and then cancelling practice the next day. In fact, I wish this happened more often. The Warriors only have 15 regular season games remaining, so they got to blow off some steam and have a good night one last time before the grind of the post season begins. Keeping guys loose and happy after a long regular season is key, and the Warriors don’t really care about your opinion on if they should be partying or practicing. Steve Kerr had his players coaching themselves a few weeks ago, he knows what is best for them, and he decided drinking late into Tuesday morning was what his guys needed.
Rockets fans are probably pretty happy about it, but in the grand scheme of things, I’d say this makes 0.0% difference. Until they get knocked out of the playoffs and Stephen A Smith is yelling about it for months on end, of course.
