Westworld Season 2 Looks DOPE

So this was one of the 45 trailers that dropped during the Super Bowl. Mother fucking Westworld, baby! Not many commercials were good last night but this was one of the best. Am I crazy or wasn’t season 2 supposed to come out in like 2021? I could’ve wore that was true. I vividly remember after the epic season 1 finale people being like, “Well yeah that was great but don’t get too excited. The next season isn’t coming out 4 years.” I’m almost positive that happened. Yet here we are. We have an April 2018 release date. I had almost forgotten Westworld existed and now we’re just two and a half months from it being back in our lives. What a pleasant surprise from the folks at Home Box Office.

And guess what? THE ROBOTS ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER! Fuck yes they are! The game done changed. We’ve got badass robot bulls. We’ve got the Man in Black standing in the rain. We’ve got Maeve walking like a badass like Neo walking through that lobby. And we’ve got smokeshow Dolores firing off guns while riding horseback. I could watch Dolores ride horseback all day long.

I’ll be honest, season 1 was very confusing for me. Different timelines happening at the same time is bound to twist my brain into a delicious pretzel.  I was DEEP into reddit threads trying to understand what was happening on the show. That might seem like a shitty way to watch a show but it’s quite the opposite. It’s a very (at the time) 2016/internet way to watch a show. Yes, you get things “spoiled” for you because with enough guesses getting thrown around someone is bound to get it right. Reddit had the show figured out by week 3. But I was at least able to know what was going on. I plan on continuing my reddit scouring for season 2. Let’s goooooooooooo
