Woman Tweets The Crazy Story About How She Met A Serial Killer Without Even Knowing It
To quote Scarface from Half Baked, I believe her yo, I don’t know why, but I do. Maybe I just want to?
How you judge Twitter all depends on your mood. Some days it’s the worst thing in the world – extremely hot political takes, irrelevant opinions you don’t care about, an outlet for racists and bigots and trolls to anonymously harass. You log on, see 50 quote tweets about Trump and a mention calling you a cyclops Jew and wish you didn’t even have this fucking app on your phone.
Some days you get long tweet threads about super creepy first person encounters with a serial killer. Those are the good days. The majority of the time I like to use Twitter solely for breaking news, but every now and then somebody hops in with a personal anecdote that interests me. Thank you Jamilah for interesting me. I’m glad you weren’t murdered. Even if Baby Ruth is trash candy.
PS,
Common misconception – Andrew Cunanan was, in fact, a serial killer, not a spree killer as you will often see him called in the media. A spree killer is someone who kills multiple people in a very short span of time, often in the heat of the moment with no break in between. A serial killer is someone who has a “cooling off” period in between. Cunanan murdered multiple people over several months which were separated by a cooling off period, thus causing the FBI to officially classify him as a “serial” killer.
And that was talkin’ murder classifications.
