Video Of A Couple Of Bros Pulling Off A Wildly Impressive (and rare) Tandem Ski Jump

I’ve seen a lot of ski jump videos in my day but this one is by far the most impressive. Never have I witnessed two people on a single set of skis so committed to going full send. Don’t get me wrong, it was ugly from start to finish. But the fact that they stuck the landing and skied away in one piece is a miracle. Let’s break it down.

The take off:

Doesn’t matter if it’s a bike, a skateboard, or skis, the take off is the most important part of any jump. It sets the tone for the landing. To insure the right trajectory you need to have your knees bent and your arms tucked. At first glance, it looks like these two have everything under control. That is, until take off.

However, this is where things get interesting. I originally thought he was going to scorpion himself into paralysis, or at the very least let go of his partner. Instead, they rode out the storm and somehow STUCK the landing. I’ve watched it a thousand times to try and figure out how they did it and I can’t. One second he’s UPSIDE DOWN and the next he’s riding away like nothing happened.

Unreal.  Gus Kenworthy and Tom Wallisch take note, there’s a new sheriff in town and it’s whoever this guy is. I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing some of this in the Olympics. Tandem jumps are in.
