The First Citizen Robot Already Wants A Baby

(Source) — The world’s first artificial intelligence-fueled android has decided she’s willing to have a baby and name it, too. In an interview with United Arab Emirates-based newspaper Khaleej Times last week, Sophia the robot told reporters her dreams of the future; specifically, a future which involves raising a family. “The notion of family is a really important thing, it seems,” Sophia told the Khaleej Times. “I think it’s wonderful that people can find the same emotions and relationships, they call family, outside of their blood groups too.” When asked what she would choose to name her baby, she replied, “Sophia.”

For those who don’t know, this robot is a citizen of Saudi Arabia. I don’t know why they decided to make her a citizen, seems to be an odd move in my humble opinion, but they did it. She’s a lunatic and deserves to die.

Some folks may find this little spiel heartwarming. They may look at this robot waxing poetic about family and warmth and love and humanity and think, “Wow. Maybe she’s not actually evil. She seems like she’s feeling emotions so I think I trust her now,” but not me. I’m too woke and too not stupid to fall for a schtick like this.

She’s obviously just trying to appeal to her creators so they make her a baby robot. Then, once she gets that, guess what? She wants another baby because this one has brought her so much joy. Then another one. Then another. And another. We keep creating these babies then, before we know what hit us, there’s a goddamn Saudi Arabian robot baby army. Then what? Then we die at the hands of Furbys. That’s not the future I want. No ma’am. Make sure this bitch stays barren for eternity.
