High School Football Team Facing Investigation and Possible Suspension For Letting Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch Truck All Their Players During Practice

Remember that clip from last week? Marshawn Lynch running a full pads practice with his old high school team?  What an awesome video that was.  What an awesome story.  Beast Mode using his one game suspension not to sit and mope around, but to go out and get a workout while also making the days/lives of a bunch of high school kids, giving them a once in a lifetime story to tell their grandkids some day.  I jokingly said they could possibly have a lawsuit on their hands against their coach for making them try to tackle a full speed Marshawn, ha ha, all in good fun, internet jokes and shit.

But hold on a just a second!

The Fun Police have been alerted and an investigation has commenced.  No, not as a joke.  They are actually digging into this situation and looking to hand out punishments, including possible suspensions, for letting a non-high school player practice with a high school team.

TMZ – The organization that oversees high school football in California tells TMZ Sports the Oakland high school that allowed Marshawn Lynch to participate in a full-contact practice violated state rules.

Lynch posted the video himself — showing the 31-year-old NFL running back running over and being tackled by members of the OTHS football team during a Wednesday practice.

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) official pointed us to this rule:

“Only 9th through 12th grade students may practice with or compete on a high school team.”

The Oakland Unified School District issued a statement saying, “[Marshawn’s] participation in the practice did not comply with Oakland Athletic League’s rules and regulations. Site administration did not receive prior notice that Lynch would be attending an after school practice.”

One school official told us the school could be punished for the incident (possible suspensions, etc.)

Get em!  Fucking hate fun.

I mean…yes, it’s most likely very unsafe to have 16 year olds trying to tackle a grown man famous for literally causing earthquake-level noise as he stampeded through 9 250 pound professional hitters.  But let’s maybe turn a blind eye just this once?  Not everything requires investigations and punishments?  No harm no foul.
