Tonight's GW vs VCU Game is the Biggest Local College Basketball Game of the Season So Far

 

 

When I started here, I was so excited that I would get to rub in everyone’s face how great Maryland basketball is and blog about them all the time but nah that hasn’t happened because they stink. And Maryland can stop asking me to send them a donation until I don’t owe them 20k and they don’t lose by 30 to FSU over the weekend. So yea, get back to me in 25 years. Regardless, I’m still a big college basketball fan and George Washington is the best team in the DMV. Not only that, but they have the best court in all the land

 

 

and now have matching jerseys.

 

 

 

Should be a great game between two teams on the up and up in the DMV. It’s not just an area ruled by Maryland and Georgetown anymore. VCU went to the Final 4 in 2011 and have Shaka signed on for the next 5 years.

 

 

PS: If there’s something GW has learned from Maryland, it’s being the uniform champion is half the battle. And they are coming up huge here. Which only means the Terps will come out in some new ridiculous jersey vs Notre Dame and be playing in moon boots by the end of the year.
