The Djoos Is Loose In DC

I couldn’t start the day without giving a shoutout to my guy Christian Djoos. He is quite possibly Caps Twitter’s favorite player of all time, and for good reason. Well it’s possible that reason is because it’s a lot of fun to make Djoos puns, but also because he’s awesome. We’re talking about a 7th round pick in the 2012 draft making his way into the NHL, and then recording a goal and a beautiful assist in his NHL debut. When given an opportunity to crack the lineup and try to shore up the Caps shoddy D, it’s hard to get much better than that.

First we had Nathan Walker, our good mate from Australia score a goal in his NHL debut, and now he have Djoos, who played well enough defensively as well to stay in the Caps lineup. The Caps have given up over 30 shots each game this season, a problem they are going to have to figure out.

Thank goodness for Ovi, who was now lit the lamp and washed the dog 8 times in just 4 games, 25% of his total from last season.

Congrats to my friend Mr. Djoos, hopefully many more to come.
