There Is A Special Place In Hell For Whoever Kicked Mack The Dog Over His Equality Scarf

Source -  A DOG wearing an “equality” bandana supporting same-sex marriage has reportedly been attacked in a Melbourne park. The owner, News Corp Australia employee Claire Sutherland, claims a man tried to kick her dog Mack on Tuesday night. At the time, he was being walked by a dog-sitter in Yarraville. Ms Sutherland posted on Twitter that the man deliberately targeted her dog. “So some mouth-breathing cretin in the park tried to kick my dog while shouting homophobic slurs,” she posted later last night.

Thankfully, she later said the kick missed its mark. “He’s totally fine though, kick didn’t connect and our dog sitter gave the guy a mouthful,” Ms Sutherland replied to a comment on the thread. In a series of further tweets, she also said: “He had no clue and remains convinced everyone loves him.”

Say what you want about American protesters but don’t tell me they’d kick a dog. Wouldn’t happen. I don’t know what kind of backward-ass-banana-land they’re living in down there but this is unacceptable. Poor boy was just trying to make his human happy and now look at him.

Ashamed, confused, skittish. Unsure of the future of marriage equality in Australia.

I want whoever did this dead. Mack didn’t choose to represent the cause, he was bribed into it with a piece of cheese. Blissfully unaware of the target tied around his neck.

Obviously you have to blame the attacker but the owner is equally responsible. Don’t bring your dog to a fucking protest. I don’t care how passionate you are. Look him square in his puppy eyes and leave him at home. Break his heart. He’ll forget about it as soon as he hits the sun-spot on the living room floor. When you get home the reunion will be that much more special.

I had avoided writing about the Australian gay marriage shit show for two months. Mostly because there’s enough  going on in America but my god. Kicking dogs is outrageous. Shame on you, Australia.
