Wesley Bryan Played His Final Round At The BMW In 1 Hour, 29 Minutes... And Shot 69
In a world where guys are playing 5 1/2 hour rounds on Tour and 6 1/2 hour rounds at the local muni, it’s nice to see Wesley Bryan out there hustling. Hitting shots, sprinting to the green, chasing his ball into the hole.
He played the front nine in 40 minutes!
Imagine playing a Tour caliber course in 2-under and sub-90 minutes? Not only did he shoot 69, he finished 69th.
#Nice (unfortunately 69th was essentially DFL, as only 70 guys in the field and Danny Lee WD’ed).
Wesley had a breakout season, earning a PGA Tour win in his rookie season and starring as one of the first guests on the Fore Play podcast. He hopped on in February, the dog days of golf podcasting.
Starts at 21:35 mark
He earned himself about $2.5 million this year, an invite to the Masters, made it to the third leg of the playoffs, and recorded a 69 in 89 minutes. Hell of a start to your PGA Tour career.
