Conservative Site Posts Cavs NBA Championship Parade Photo As "5 Miles Of Trump Supporters Waiting To Meet POTUS In Phoenix"
One of the beauties of the fake news phenomenon is people out there now trying to get away with ANYTHING. And succeeding! I mean look at this very simple example. Some jabroni googles crowd pictures, finds one that looks infinite, tosses it online with some caption about Trump supporters in Phoenix and voila, that’s EXACTLY what it becomes:
Incredible. There’s not even any creativity to this one –> find massive crowd picture, post as Trump supporters. That’s it. That was the entire operation. Like the blueprints for this narrative were “google images, add caption to image.” That’s it. And Laura Ingraham, who’s a massive conservative voice who used to sub in on Bill O’Reilly’s show (most viewed show in the history of cable TV by 5+ miles), has it on her website as 5 miles of Trump supporters. Incredible.
I don’t want to get too serious on a summer Friday, but THIS is fake news. This and tens of thousands of other completely fabricated stories — from both sides — are actual fake news, which makes Trump hurling that term and anybody and everybody who disagrees with him even that much more dangerous.
