The Incompetence Behind This Woman's Basketball Player Scoring A 3-Pointer In The Other Team's Hoop Is MIND BLOWING
Live look at Smitty trying to understand what’s going on here:
WHERE ARE WE? HOW DID WE GET HERE? WHY DOES THIS EXIST?!?!?! OK. Calm down, boy. Let’s take a deep breath. Maybe there’s a reasonable explanation. Let’s break it down and attempt to understand this sequence of futility:
The red team goes out of bounds at the baseline of their own basket. That’s a clear cut fact…so naturally the ref gives the ball back to the red team. Why? Women! I have no idea. Even more naturally, after inbounding the ball, the red team decides to forgo scoring on their own net and proceed to drive all the way down the court and launch a three at the other team’s hoop. Why? Women! I have no idea. It’s almost like they have the instinctual drive to keep stubbornly continue down the wrong path/argument no matter how much they know they’re incorrect. Not to mention the refs let the backcourt violation slide. Why? Eh, we’ll chalk that one up to confusion. You don’t stop the incompetence train once it’s already barreling down the tracks towards 80 cents on the dollar. Also, the irony of one of the greatest looking three pointers in female basketball history being a complete waste of time and effort cannot be lost on this world. Great shot, lady!
Most importantly, let it be known this is a World Championship game. A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. The seemingly best of the best of the best of the best women’s basketball players, coaches, and referees on Earth literally not knowing which way is up. This isn’t 8-year-olds coming back from halftime and get confused for a second which hoop they’re going after. These are adult professionals who were 9 MINUTES into the 3rd quarter. WILD. This is almost like the time a Montana State Championship Softball game gloriously ended on a walk-off, inside the park…strikeout.
Sweet Mother of Mercy. Go women!
