Bengals Safety George Iloka Proposes To Girlfriend With R. Kelly Music Video Remake
Technology in relationships is the ultimate double edge sword. One minute you’re FaceTiming with 21 Savage, the next minute you’re watching your significant other get dog out by her coworker via Snapchat’s Snap Map feature. Receiving unsolicited nudes is cool and all, but that eventually leads to the dreaded “So what are we???” text at 10:37 PM on a Sunday evening.
In a perfect world, the best move is to remain low key and keep all the intimate details of your personal relationship personal, but unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world. It’s not about what you want, it’s about what your girl wants. Maybe you’d rather not make a Picstitch on your “anniversary” showing how perfect life has been over the past year, but if your lady doesn’t have anything to brag to Brittany about this weekend, Sunday brunch is going to be a DISASTER.
Modern technology has set the bar impossibly high for relationship standards, and if average guys like you or I have stand any chance of impressing the ladies, it’s important to go above and beyond what the Internet has affectionately dubbed as #RelationshipGoals. Maybe even going as far as proposing via a professionally produced music video lip-synching a timeless R. Kelly love song. Not quite as classy as the tried and true stadium proposal method in my humble opinion, but we’re certainly getting there.
Oh, and she said yes btw.
Congrats on the future sex, you two. Mazel Tov.
