John Daly's Son Made His First Ace At A Junior Event

PGA- John Daly has made his name known on the golf course over the past several decades, and now it’s his 13-year-old son that is making more golf headlines for his talents on the links. John Daly II, nicknamed Little John, made his first career ace while competing at the Stacy Lewis All-Star Invitational in his hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The proud dad tweeted out a photo of his son and the stats on the shot — 190 yards with a 5 iron.

Ace! Part of me wants to be jealous of this but a bigger part of me knows that I love the Daly family so much so when they’re happy, I’m happy. Good for Little John Daly. By the way, I can’t express to you how excited I am to watch Little John Daly grow up. That sounds very creepy but it also happens to be how I actually feel. Because think about it. Big John Daly has provided us with so much entertainment over the years. He still does. Everything he does makes me smile. But unfortunately some day he’s not going to be able to provide that around-the-clock entrainment anymore. What do we do then? WELL WE’VE GOT ANOTHER JOHN DALY COMING DOWN THE PIPE. The kid is only 13 now but he is a carbon copy of his dad. I hope he wins 20 majors as a pro and takes advantage of the talents his Dad never totally did. I want Little John Daly to do things the right way. How much fun would it be if Little JD took over golf some day? I’m so here for that. An ace at 13 years old is a great start.
