Only Makes Sense That Brendan Shanahan's Nephew Would Be Getting Into Box Lacrosse Goalie Fights

Devlin Shanahan is the goalie for the Mimico Mountaineers. In case you’ve never heard of the Mimico Mountaineers, they’re a Jr A Box Lacrosse team up in Ontario. Devlin Shanahan is also the nephew of this beauty.

1,524 NHL career games. 656 career goals. 1,354 career points. And 2,489 career penalty minutes.

Obviously being an absolute savage is just in the Shanahan gene pool. Buddy here sees a little scuffle going down in the corner. Runs down to the other end of the court, pops off the uppers and let’s ‘em fly.

I’m telling you right now. If you’re somebody who hates the way that fighting is being phased out in hockey, then you have to become a box lacrosse fan. These guys drop the gloves any chance they get and it’s just a straight up street fight. These guys are on foot instead of skates so they just pound away until somebody dies pretty much. Mix in a few goalie fights here and there and it’s like you’re watching the 90s NHL again. It’s like a time machine that takes you back to paradise.
