Markelle Fultz's First Meal In Philadelphia Was Chick-Fil-A, Which Officially Makes Him My Favorite Philly Athlete Ever

If you’ve listened to Philly sports radio at any point over the last 48 hours, you know there’s this weird thing called “positivity” going around the Philadelphia fan-base. And with good reason. There’s plenty that Sixers fans and Process Trusters have to look forward to with Markelle Fultz. I’m not the biggest basketball guy in the world so I won’t touch on Fultz’s actual game and how he fits in to this Sixers lineup. But what I can tell you is that he’s already my favorite player on the team after his first stop in town was to Chick-Fil-A.

Now I need to know the deets on his order. Is he a Chick-No-Pick kinda guy? Did he go spicy? That’s a risky order right before putting on a workout for a team who is going to snag you with the #1 overall pick in less than a week. You never know how the spicy chicken is going to react with your stomach. But if he’s a true die-hard, then chances are he knows how to handle his #3. Did he stick with just one order of fries or did he get an extra order of fries for the ride to the complex? I need to know how he ranks his dipping sauces. Did he get a frozen lemonade? It’s a delicious way to cool off on a hot summer day. Is he down with Chick-Fil-A breakfast? He has to be. That was a stupid to even question. Though I’ll admit the Chick-Fil-A hash browns can leave much to be desired. Not their strong suit but that’s okay.

I just want to sit down with Markelle Fultz and pick his brain on Chick-Fil-A one day. Also maybe once he gets a hold of that NBA money, I can let him in on my top secret plan to open up a chain of Chick-Fil-A restaurants that are only open on Sundays. It’s a billion dollar industry and all you have to do is work one day of the week. Pretty genius, I know.
