Putin Trolls The Shit Out Of The U.S. Over Climate Change

Business Insider — Asked about the Paris Agreement on climate change that President Donald Trump withdrew the US from on Thursday, Putin replied, “Don’t worry, be happy.”

“It’s about preventing temperature changes of 2 degrees,” Putin said, adding that those at the forum “somehow do not yet feel that the temperature is rising. By the way, we should be grateful to President Trump. In Moscow, it’s raining and cold and even, they say, some snow. Now, we could blame this all on American imperialism, that it’s all their fault, but we won’t.”

I wish Putin were on twitter. Like I wish he were part of normal American twitter. Making little wisecracks during the NBA Finals or trolling during the Bachelor. He’s fucking hilarious. Guy is up there on the global stage blatantly shitting on the U.S.’ latest controversial move on climate change with the most elementary, classic jokes that’ve been playing for decades. “Global warming? Ummm there’s snow in Moscow. Boom roasted.” Trump’s been cranking these jokes for years.

Frankly, if you think climate change is simply a hoax to push an agenda you’re a fucking idiot. Yes it gets over-politicized, as literally everything does, but it’s not a hoax. It’s real. And ignoring that or purposefully taking action against a collective effort to do something about that is, actually, bad.

PS — Putin also got feisty over election meddling claims, saying a 3-year-old could invent such an attack.
