The Entire Senate Is Being Summoned To The White House To Get Briefed On North Korea

Fox News — The entire U.S. Senate has been invited to the White House for a briefing Wednesday on the North Korea situation, amid escalating tensions over the country’s missile tests and bellicose rhetoric.

The White House confirmed the upcoming briefing on Monday.

Reuters first reported that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and other top officials plan to provide the update to lawmakers.

…Meanwhile, U.S. commercial satellite images indicated increased activity around North Korea’s nuclear test site, while Kim has said that the country’s preparation for an ICBM launch is in its “final stage.”

Just had to comment on this real quick. I can’t figure out North Korea. One minute I think they’re the biggest joke in the world. Like we’re taking them so not-seriously that we’re sending aircraft carriers the exact opposite direction. Bluffing then laughing in Kim Jong-un’s fat face. Next minute ENTIRE Senate has to go to the White House to get briefed on the situation. Monday they’ve got nukes pointed at LA but Tuesday they’re parading out cardboard missiles. Eating onions spotting dimes. It’s insane.

Sometimes it’s these types of threats.

Other times it’s these types of results.

No idea what to think, but I sure don’t like the entire Senate heading to the White House to get the details. Seems a little too serious for my liking.
