Caps Win! Pittsburgh Here We Come
Thank fucking goodness. I thought it’d be Caps in 5, it was Caps in 6, and 5 of the games went to OT. Toronto battled their asses off every game. But the Caps depth and experience paid dividends and they are moving on to see Pittsburgh in round 2.
I’ll have more on this tomorrow, but it’s just nice to breath a sigh of relief. It was a tough series that pushed the Caps to the limit at multiple times, even going down in the series 2-1. But the Caps never relented, Holtby stepped up when he needed to, and now we move on to Sid, Malkin, and the rest of the dickheads from Pittsburgh. The amount of hate I will have for the team, the fans, and the entire city over the next two weeks is going to be off the charts. I invite you to join me.
