Blackhawks Get Shutout, Again, And Embarrassed, Again, In Game 2

I’ll have a full recap blog tomorrow, on Easter, about coming back from the dead and being positive and all of that, but for right now…FUCKKKKKKKKK. I’m trying to think of a worse Blackhawks playoff loss than that…ever, and I can’t. Total embarrassment. They’re just getting out worked, out played, and out-coached right now. Nashville is doing this neutral zone trap, there’s no space in through the middle and then they’re just counter attacking with these lob and stretch passes. It’s been two games of this and the Hawks don’t have any answers. Even though the score didn’t reflect it, I thought they played better tonight. At least offensively. They had some dangerous moments and a few posts, maybe if the Panik or Toews shot goes in this blog has a much different tone, but they didn’t and the Hawks got housed. I’m stunned and this guy fucking fell asleep in the 2nd period

Now, all they have to do is win Game 3 and they’re right back in the series. I said I would wait for tomorrow for the positivity, but I can’t. Look it, they may not have ever had a worse loss in their history, but they’ve been in worse spots. They’ve been down 3-1 several times and have come back to win. Blowing the first two games at home puts them in a DEEP hole, but I’m never going to stop believing in this team. And like I said in the preview blog, which match up are you uncomfortable with? None. No more chasing matchups. Just roll them, get in a rhythm, and a puck go in. It’ll do wonders.
