Dustin Johnson "Hopes" To Play In The Masters After Falling Down Some Stairs And Injuring His Back

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Dustin Johnson, the world’s No. 1-ranked player and the favorite entering the week to win the green jacket, is questionable to compete in the Masters after suffering a freak back injury on Wednesday. In a statement from Johnson’s agent, David Winkle, Johnson was injured falling off some stairs at his rental home. “At roughly 3:00 pm today, Dustin took a serious fall on a staircase in his Augusta rental home,” the statement read. “He landed very hard on his lower back and is now resting, although quite uncomfortably. He has been advised to remain immobile and begin a regimen of anti-inflammatory medication and icing, with the hope of being able to play tomorrow.”

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Fuck! How? How does that happen? Lotttttta rumors are gonna start flying around about how this happened. I’m guessing it had to be the rain. It was slippery as fuck when we were walking around Augusta on Tuesday (no big deal, we’re here). If DJ doesn’t play in the Masters that’s gonna throw a big ol’ wrench in the betting plans for just about everybody. The smart money going into this week was on him. He is by far the greatest golfer on the planet right now and that’s gonna SUCK if he can’t play. I will say, it’s not funny, but it’s kinda ironic that the greatest athlete in the sport of golf can’t even walk down a flight of stairs. Not great for the sport. Not great at all. I need Paulina giving him rub downs/blow jobs until he tees off tomorrow. Get that man healthy. I didn’t come down to Augusta to watch Dustin Johnson sit on the sidelines.
