Crazy Lady Ambushes Sean Spicer At The Apple Store
Wash Post — On Saturday afternoon, White House press secretary Sean Spicer had an encounter with a woman with an iPhone. She didn’t want a selfie.
When Shree Chauhan, a former elementary school teacher who is avowedly not a supporter of President Trump, spotted Spicer at an Apple store in the D.C. area, she decided to ask the press secretary some questions “since he doesn’t like the press,” she wrote on Twitter.
“I wanted to speak truth to power,” Chauhan said in a Medium post about the incident that was extremely political and far from polite.
Look if you’ve been following my coverage of the new administration at all you know from my blogs and from Zero Blog Thirty and my twitter account which you should go follow @RiggsBarstool that there’s plenty of criticism of Trump to go around from me. Plenty that I’ve found laughably absurd. That I’ve found to be well outside the realm of growing pains or learning curves or acceptable execution of matters from the President and his team. Spicer fits right inside that umbrella; although he is essentially ordered by the President what to say, some of the things he’s said and done have been of the most absurd.
(SOS?)
But on this one, this lady and her iPhone can fuck right off. I would’ve given anything for someone to just knock her out mid-video. Nice little right hook, camera flies, finishes with one of those dramatic sideways frames of the abandoned camera filming the ground. Love those shots — I was begging for that. Praying.
If she was calmly asking reasonable questions with an opportunity for him to respond that would be one thing. I could understand that — he’s an influential man in an influential role. He’s the face of the White House.
But just shoving your iPhone in his face and basically bullying him about fascism and ruining the country in as antagonizing of a manner as possible just makes her an asshole. Even Young Pageviews doesn’t do that. He’s respectful and professional enough to ask questions and then offer a response window while shoving a camera in your face/wielding it like a deadly weapon.
Barstool setting the gold standard once again. Maybe act like a respectful person/Barstool employee & permanent resident for me one time lady.
