Dave Giving His Girlfriend His Instagram Password Is The Dumbest Thing In The History Of History

First of all, if you’re not listening to Barstool Radio I suggest you start. I don’t even like Dave and I’m captivated by this tale of foolishness.

Second of all, he admitted to doing the single dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life: he gave his girlfriend his Instagram password. That wasn’t even a main part of the story and was kinda ignored, but it is an idiotic move. I don’t even have shit on my phone, I have closed DMs and all, but if you give someone access to your closet then they’re gonna find a skeleton or two. 100% of the time. Fifteen year old Steve is in the studio right now and even he wouldn’t be ignorant enough to do something like give his girlfriend a password (especially Dave who uses pretty much the same password for absolutely everything).

Giving your girlfriend access to shit like that is letting a bull into the China shop. Even if there’s nothing to find, if she gets in a bad mood she’ll find something to find. I had a girlfriend get into my phone once, search her name as a keyword in my texts, then start a blowout over the fact that I said to my buddy once that she was “being a pain in the ass” so I wasn’t gonna make it out. That’s all! But she felt like fighting so that was the trick. You just can’t willingly give out shit like that or you’re asking for a world of hurt. If a girl ever asks for your password or access to your messages you put your phone in the microwave immediately. It’s never, ever a smart play. Your phone is your id, it’s where you’re your truest self, you don’t show that fucking shit to anyone.
