"Make Hockey Violent Again Week" Keeps Going As Bench Clearing Brawl Is Recorded On Security Footage

What a week it’s been for violence in hockey. Since the calendar flipped over to March, we’ve had savages running amok and going ape shit on rinks all across the globe. Here’s a quick rundown of everything that’s happened over the last 4 days–There was the Jr B hockey player climbing over the glass and into the crowd to fight a fan. Next there was this suplex from the USHL. This psychopath taking a baseball hack at some kid’s head in Quebec. A goalie getting demolished and/or possibly murdered. And now this bench clearing brawl from the weekend. Now as much as I’d like to imagine this is from a Beer League game, the time stamp on the video says it’s just about 5 o’ clock on a Sunday. No chance in hell does any Beer League game start before 9:30. So I’m just going to assume this is some random Jr C league judging by the lack of fans in the crowd, and the boys didn’t disappoint.

This thing had a chance to end at least 2 or 3 different times but the savages kept chuckin’ away which tells me that there is pure, unfiltered hatred coming with each and every single punch. As soon as it looked like things were starting to die down and the refs were gaining control over the situation, a new scrap broke out and gave the donnybrook new life.

Get a load of the goalie in green just idly standing by while the other teams’ two goalies go to town on his boy. That’s gotta be the least ferda tendy I’ve ever seen in my life. Only excuse for this type of behavior would be if the green team was losing by 10 and they were hanging him out to dry all day. At that point I guess you can be ready to just get the hell off the ice and not have to deal with eating a few fists for dinner. But if that’s not the case than that goalie should either be ashamed of himself or way too high to function. 2 goalies vs 1 skater and this goalie doesn’t even make it past his own hashmarks? Shame! Shame! Shame!
