This Dickbag Demanding Clean Change At A 7-Eleven Because The Coins He Got Are Too Dirty Is Quite The Spiteful Move

So you know what I’m kind of into as a blog theme right now? Spite. To me it feels like one of those things driving internet content right now under the radar, stories like that college kid grading his ex’s apology letter or even the directionless protests around the country right now because people are mad their Presidential pick didn’t win..it’s all spite. For a while the internet was all about positivity when Buzzfeed was churning out those “_____ will restore your faith in humanity” blogs, then it became about indignation over every outrage on either side with nonstop attempts to boycott things or get people fired…and now here’s where we’ve landed, people just being absolute shitheads to other people they hate for the sake of upvotes pretty much all the time. Spite personified.

And there’s no better example of it than this stand-off of spite between these two miscreants. The guy refuses to take change and acting like a crazy person with refusing to not film it all, the cashier lady is deliberately acting like an asshole and wouldn’t end the situation by just giving the dude whatever money he gave her and getting him the fuck out of there, just a classic movie situation of two people pointing guns at each other waiting to see who’s going to flinch first. They honestly could have argued for another five hours when the video ended and I wouldn’t have been surprised for a second. Over a fucking PENNY, a piece of currency that most people lose without a care in the world and that our country could completely eliminate without missing a beat. Peak spitefulness is what that is and it’s all around us right now if you open your eyes.
