Just when you think the journeys of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick can’t get any more surreal, any more like pieces of fiction so overwrought with emotion that even the most shameless Hollywood hack would send them off for a rewrite, NFL Films comes along with the inside look that brings the reality home to you.
This latest “Sound FX” is a masterpiece. An immediate “Save Until I Delete” all-time keeper. The ending alone, from Belichick making the good news official to Edelman to the Brady family story to the perfectly natural, not-at-all-worthy-of-being-judged lip kiss between Tom Jr. and Tom. Sr. to the finale where Bob Socci puts it all in perspective, is perfection.
