Adam Hadwin Shoots A 59 At The CareerBuilder Challenge (And Johnny Miller Dropped A Solid F-Bomb Along The Way)
Another one! The second 59 in as many weeks and 8th of all time on the PGA Tour. Justin Thomas shot one in Hawaii at the Sony Open and now Canadian Adam Hadwin got himself one at the CareerBuilder Challenge. He even had a chance at 58 but a wayward tee shot on 18 (more on that in a second) put it out of reach. Not to downgrade JT’s 59 but Thomas’ came on a par-70 course and Hadwin just did it on a par-72. 13 birdies from Hadwin. 13! This comes after a handful of other players had a shot at 59 at the Sony Open. Low numbers on low numbers on low numbers to start the season. Impressive stuff from the 29-year-old from Moose Jaw, Canada which is absolutely the most Canadian-sounding place ever.
Maybe more important than the 59 though was (maybe) Johnny Miller dropping a hard f-bomb after Hadwin hit a bad tee shot on 18. Decide for yourself whether it was Hadwin or Johnny but I’m pretty sure it was Johnny.
