Skins Can't Win The Important One At Home

What a bad game all around for the Skins, and they somehow were still in it at the end. Kirk wasn’t sharp, the running game was non-existent, Jordan Reed was hurt as hell and then threw a punch to get ejected, and the Skins have the worst safeties in the league. All of that led to the Panthers winning the game the Skins needed the most.

It was a curious decision from the get-go for the Skins to enter the season so light in the secondary (I must have blogged about this 100 times leading up to the season) and they were exposed tonight. They just couldn’t make stops when it mattered, and it doesn’t help everyone is hurt.

A win would have put the Skins in a great spot for the playoffs, and a loss is rather problematic for the post-season hopes, as they now need a lot of help. This game definitely exposed the Skins weaknesses, and that they aren’t there quite yet.
